We publish educational content about buying property in Costa Rica because our buyers ask the same questions repeatedly. This policy describes how that content is produced.
Who writes it
Content is written by the Kaepa Hills project team based on our direct experience developing and selling property in Malpais and Santa Teresa, and reviewed against Costa Rican legal and tax practice before publication.
Accuracy and sourcing
We publish only what we can support. Where a figure varies by case, we say so rather than presenting a single number as fact. Where a topic requires a licensed professional, we say that explicitly instead of substituting our own opinion.
What we will not publish
Guaranteed or projected investment returns, appreciation forecasts, invented testimonials, invented awards or statistics we cannot substantiate, and claims about competing projects that we cannot verify.
Corrections and updates
Pages carry a last-updated date. When rules or market conditions change, we revise the page and refresh that date. If you find an error, tell us and we will correct it.
